Laughter is the Best Medicine!

Updated: Sep 22, 2020

It's definitely time for a laugh!!

And this could be just what the doctor ordered!

The 4th annual Women’s Health Week Comedy Gala is back – and this year will be streamed live right around Australia on Saturday 26th September at 7.30pm... Yes, that's right... no need to travel to Melbourne for this one... you get the comedy festival delivered to you LIVE in the comfort of your own home (obviously observing Covid Safe distancing)!!  And to help with the cost of some healthy nibbles (or bubbles), you can use our special promo code to receive 10% discount off your ticket price!!

What better excuse to get a group of your besties around for a girls night in, share some "girls only" laughs and raise some funds for this very worthwhile women's health organisation.

This one-night-only event celebrates women supporting women in a laugh-out-loud night of comedy and music. Hosted by Claire Hooper, this fun event will feature the impressive talents of Celia Pacquola, Cal Wilson, Steph Tisdell, Zoe Coombs Marr, Jude Perl and Aditi Mittal. Produced by Janet a. McLeod. Performers will be live on stage in Melbourne, except Steph Tisdell (Brisbane) and Aditi Mittal (Mumbai) and streamed live on high definition Zoom video conferencing platform. Ticket holders will receive a personal link prior to the event, which gives you the option of watching the event on a smart TV, phone or laptop. There will be no topic off limits as these women tell it like it is!

We'd suggest asking each of your friends to make a donation, and make it a great fundraising event:  $25 can help Jean Hailes send valuable health resources to reach women in remote, rural and regional communities in Australia. $50 can help more than 50 women receive up-to-date health information on menopause or endometriosis. $100 will provide Jean Hailes the resources and tools to consult directly with women on their health needs and priorities, in order to provide the most up-to-date information for women across Australia.
