Dr Tharanga Arav

Dr Tharanga Arav is an experienced Medical Practitioner with over 20 years of experience across General Practice, Anaesthesia and Sedation, Critical Care and Perioperative care.
After graduating from UNSW in 2004 with Honours, Tharanga worked at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals, with several years of experience in Anaesthetics and Critical Care, as well as with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. She then moved into General Practice in 2013 alongside providing perioperative care in hospital settings.
Tharanga has advanced her skills by obtaining Diplomas in Pediatrics,
Dermoscopy (skin cancer) and a Certificate in sexual health and family planning.
Tharanga thoroughly enjoys using her versatile skill set to provide quality care in providing IV sedation for patients having procedures at Clinic 66. She is committed to the well-being of her patients and in delivering excellent clinical care, with a focus on holistic, patient centred care with effective communication and attention to detail.
