Dr Karina Severin graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004, and trained as a GP with a special interest in sexual and reproductive health. She is based in Melbourne, and has previously worked in Western Australia, Papua New Guinea and London, UK. She holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Masters of Public Health.
Karina is passionate about children by choice and the right to non-judgemental access to abortion and family planning. She loves that Telehealth allows individuals from all over Australia to access this essential service.
Karina has a special interest in sexual health and sexual difficulties including pain, libido, relationship issues and recovery from unwanted sexual experiences. She has expertise in all kinds of general sexual & reproductive health issues including vulval and vaginal complaints, menstrual problems, PMOS/PCOS, pelvic pain and menopause.
Karina is a mum to two young boys and enjoys hiking and being in the great outdoors.
