About the doctor

Dr Karen Osborne practises medicine because she has always loved science and problem solving. She continues to find deep job satisfaction in helping people feel better and using her expertise to resolve complex reproductive and sexual health concerns. She graduated in 2000 in the UK, and after initially training as a GP, quickly found her niche in reproductive and sexual health, bringing more than two decades of experience in that field across two hemispheres.

She has formally held teaching, lecturing and examining roles at state family planning organisations and continues to mentor clinicians through supervision of GP registrars and medical students. She prioritises non-judgement, confidentiality and discretion so her patients always feel safe, respected and supported.

Dr Osborne is passionate about providing expert reproductive and sexual healthcare, enjoying the problem solving nature of the specialty and finding deep satisfaction in helping patients navigate fertility, pregnancy planning and menopause with evidence based, supportive care. Patients can expect her to listen carefully, understand their concerns and offer expert, problem solving care with a strong focus on overall health and wellness.
